On 13.06.2009 (Saturday) was an organized action to clean the surroundings of Lake Mavrovo picnic location and all who are in its vicinity. Reason for this action was a manifestation "Mavrovo Tour 2009" and the action fully fit in the annual program of cleaning and arranging the environment part of the organizers. This activity was enriched with the participation of the Ambassador of Netherlands in Macedonia Mrs Simone Filippini, the director of the National Park Mavrovo Mr. Oner Jakuposki and Mayor of Mavrovo and Rostuše Mr. Mukrem Mehmedi. Beside them were involved in the campaign, and Public Utility Company Mavrovo, students from high school Pance Poposki-PP Rostuše  representatives of the council of the municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše, hotel owners and Alpina Radica and their employees. It began with cleaning the most visited locations on the lake, camp, place black stone, Boykov Kladenec square in the center and ski and do a full tour around the lake. Clean the area and despite the asphalt road. The result that emerged from the realization of the action was ovies and guests who came in large number of participants as Mavrovo "Mavrovo Tour 2009" were visibly pleased with the appearance of Mavrovo.. This type of activity gives them more reason to institutions in the municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše continue to cooperate and implement major projects and with more lasting effects.
